Question: Is Kids Future a licensed child care facility?
  • Yes, Our center is licensed and monitored by the State of Illinois. Kids Future Day Care Center follows and exceeds all regulations set forth by the State of Illinois.
Question: Does Kids Future Day Care Center have secured entrances?
  • Yes, Our center has secured front door and back door that stays locked at all times. Only registered parents are given access to the facility.
Question: How long does it take to enroll my child?
  • We have limited slots for children at Kids Future Day Care Center. Planning ahead by getting on the waiting list as soon as possible will increase your chances.
Question: How can I obtain information about tuition?
  • Tuition may vary each year depending on the program and schedule. Contact our front desk to find out current tuition fees.
Question: What are your hours of operation?
  • We’re open Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm.
Question: What’s the current student-to-teacher ratio?
  • It’s important that our classroom size and teaching staff are appropriately aligned for learning and development. Student-to-teacher ration are based upon the age group and classroom. Infant & Toddler : 1:4 ; Two years old: 1:8 ; Three years old: 1:10 ; Four years old: 1:10 ; Five years old: 1:10 ; Six years old: 1:10.
Question: Do I need to provide snacks or lunches?
  • Parents will provide breast milk, formula, and other foods for infants 12 months and under. Lunches and two snacks are provided daily by Healthy Organic Kids for children over as early as 8 month old.
Question: Can I visit my child any time I’d like to?
  • Yes, Our center has an open door policy. We understand the importance of parental involvement in the education of young children. You’re encouraged to visit your child. But visit can be done only if you let us know ahead of time so we can arrange the time for your visit that would not interrupt classroom activities.
Question: Does your day care facility conduct background check for all employees?
  • Kids Future Day Care Center conducts a comprehensive background check on all prospective employees and frequent visitors. The background check consists a county criminal record check for the past 7 years performed in all counties that a person has lived, worked, or attended school in addition to the county criminal search, a sex offender search, OFAC search, and a social security verification trace are also conducted.
Question: Are all staff trained in CPR, Gateway, and First Aid?
  • All of our staff are trained regularly in CPR and Gateway. First Aid is taught as required by state licensing agency / regulations so that you can feel confident that your child is safe and receiving the best care possible at our center.
Question: How is discipline handled?
  • We talk to older children and do not believe in punishment or time outs. If a behavior is increasingly difficult, we hold a conference with parents to discuss details and action steps. We are of the opinion that the teachers need to create a classroom that is safe and fun for all children. Children really cannot do anything wrong or “bad”, and our teachers are creative in their teaching in order to promote positive behaviors.
Question: Does the school provide progress reports?
  • The teachers complete progress reports in November and again in June. Parent-Teacher conferences are hosted at that time to discuss any areas of concern, growth, and further development.
Question: How do you handle your waiting list?
  • There are two separate waiting lists. One list is for families who already have a child enrolled in Kids Future, when parents also want to enroll siblings. The second list is for families who do not yet have a child enrolled at Kids Future. Families are contacted a month prior to starting to finalize a schedule and make appointment to meet their child’s teacher.
Question: Do you offer Night or Weekend care?
  • At present, based on an apparent lack of demand, Kids Future Day Care Center do not offer night and weekend child care. If you and other parents express sufficient interest for this type of extended hours care, we will consider offering it on a center by center basis.
Question: May a visiting relative pick up my child?
  • We must have written permission from a parents or guardian to release a child to someone else. The adult picking up the child must be at least 18 years old and provide us with a government issued photo ID.
